Yours was the only one that actually made sense, was easy to do, and WORKED! Using Acronis Disk Director , I simply had to reassign a drive letter to my hard disk partition, it will be detected by My Computer, with all data accessible too! I have tried to set up my computer to dual boot Ubuntu 8.04 with xp professional.
