Solved: Moving A Font

With a new year and efficiency in mind, I'd like to move several of these "fancy" fonts from my System Fonts to Personal Fonts, just so I don't do anything stupid Webkit for whatever reason likes to make the fonts swap from subpixel to standard antialiasing when doing css transforms. have a peek at this web-site

I would be less concerned if it were only the moving element that is swapped to standard antialiasing. And now that I see how simple it is to install fonts in Ubuntu I feel really stupid for even posting this thread in the first place. Blocks and hatches that where all very close to zero but not.So whenmy user attached a multi leader to one of those objects it altered the font.Thank you discussion groups. In the terminal you use "sudo" to do this, so your command should look something like Code: sudo mv /home/user/Downloads/fonts/* /usr/share/fonts/truetype/newfonts/ Code: gksu nautilus will allow you to drag and drop I should have researched it a little further first. It works for me and have done it this way for years.

I was able to pinpoint exactly what causes this behavior in the script I'm using, and it is entirely a CSS issue. You have to move them using snaps and point filters or use a LISP routine. I think I'll use a combo of frankes and brli's suggestions. Not a Member Yet?

I am using Nautilus because I don't know the Terminal command used to perform this task. The time now is 02:39 AM. Best way to go about moving Windows to my other harddrive? To be clear, I know there are other ways to get the effect. (Using margin-left rather than transform, etc.) I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this AND use transforms.

I added `translate3d(0,0,0)`to the hover effect, as well as `backface-visibility` and that seems to help, though now, the final frame of the effect stays blurry. Normally this does not create problems and I can use the fonts in new started programs. In your case, maybe "sudo fc-cache" will be useful, to reload the fonts.
