Because I work mostly in 2010, I want to default to opening with 2010 but I can't do it. But i don't know what program was used. However, if I open the Word / Excel application first, and then open the file I want within that, it's fine.What's going on? They sound like a mixture of both hardware and software problems. But then again, they might not be file fragments at all, just damaged files. Regards, GEWB its a laptop and every other application is fine and words works fine in my daughter account its just my account that has the problem however i will try It takes just 2 minutes to sign up (and it's free!).
