Not everyone has the know-how or patience to go into the registry to fix things like this. You can't do anything but uninstall a program on the Programs & Features.On another site, I was advised to not bother with Works as they feel it is a poor substitute BTW, WordPad is guaranteed not any slower in creating / typing documents than Works!
