Sgain is right, you if you give out the IP number you should use the external one. Well I did mine on the web browser which was accessible by entering the internal IP of the router IIRC. Click Start Test and make sure they are testing the right IP address. Also, the second picture in that link shows two network connections showing up. If things seem too confusing, then just work on opening the port and then work on port forwarding. If so How do I input it?

I've got 2 wireless networks running that way in my house. Make sure to allow the program and port in your Mcaffee security program and with windows firewall. Click on that and it may (I haven't tried it) switch off WiFi.I'll be doing the same thing soon (I bought a Time Capsule ytesterday and will be installing it later

Even if you put the 2wire in bridge mode it still continues the SPI processing even though it passes everything through.

It arrived without the installation disk and with a photo-copy of installation instructions where some of it was not readable (bad copy). if it has those options, you can convert it to an access point. Problems went away when I updated the router with the latest firmware. All rights reserved.
