i switched out the q6600 with an e8400 and both computers did nothing until the cpu's were returned to their original motherboards. Irv S. The on-line spec's for the mobo states it will take an Athlon 64 and Sempron's. The fans were on. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/360456-28-motherboard
After I intalled the new cpu, I turned the computer on and it showed no BIOS, just black screen.
