My company now detects that my AV program does not meet their criteria (it worked 2 days ago). This was a considerable inconvienience since he uses his computer for school research as well as his own entertainment. Not quite AV, but something better, imo, as it doesn't use signatures, but looks for aberrant behaviour; e.g your email should not be trying to access your customer database. Now, I have to prove to my card company that I did not authorize this renewal. unplugged it again and moved the memory to the other slot and somehow that seemed to make the computer come back n with fan spinning normally but nothing else responds. I do have certain unknown/private numbers that are legitimate calls that I need to take, so this is absolutely harassment.
