One of these entries probably causes the problem. Installing the new program would write-over and resolve whatever problems that I would have been expeiencing from the older 2003 version. should i reinstall it??

I have tried for a month of Sundays to get NAV 2003 on WinXP SP2 to download and install the Norton WMI update that will allow the security center to monitor Task Manager showed NIS services running. I have it set for Automatic Live Update. Every F'in year I go thru this $hit.

My Norton AntiVirus subscription expired. I don't which caused this problem. Just like in both Windows Vista & 7, Security/Action Center both recognized Norton Internet Security, yet if you ran a Windows Health Report in either version it didn't recognize it and On IE9 the only Add-On enabled was the two NIS security ones minus the actual tool bar ....
When I try to repair it, I get "acquiring IP address failed" or some such thing.When I uninstall SP2, the problem remains.
