i have successfully transferred data from one machine to another in two ways. Parted Magic disk partitioning, PC repair, and file recovery tool (Bootable CD or USB image) If you prefer a bootable USB key, download and run Linux Live USB Creator. That would allow you to boot and run the USB stick inside Windows, but you can't use it that way to partition, anyway, so make it only if you want to Use Parted Magic and boot up to view the drive and see exactly what is on it. The windows os's don't boot up and run when moved from machine to machine. Same for MOUSE.COM, PARALINK.COM, etc.?
