Solved: Norton NIS 2007

Wish I would have found this board yesterday, before I wasted two hours of my time. But anyways ive tried it and its all fine.. ............... Is that a safe application? Then the installation stopped with an error, and prompted me to use the Norton Removal tool again to get rid of all the old Symantec versions on the system. I'm not sure why that tool worked and the Norton Removal Tool didn't. The system was a mess.
