Furthermore I cannot open the Tools->option menu from within a VI front panel.I've tried repairing the LV installation and when this didn't work I went for a full remove and reinstall I have unplugged, taken out and blew out all dust in and outside the unit. In the @BIOS program I just get an error when starting the program and in the other the "bios setting" button is locked for some reason. The beeps are called POST codes and they can help you to find what is causing your boot errors. Could you have/get a picture of the error by any chance? All of these issues are only on start-up.
