My computer crashed, and I restored system from mfgr. I even tried using the excel Send - EMail built in - this also crashes my excel. Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run setup. How did you sort it?

To do a true repair follow these steps: Go to add remove programs (start -> run -> appwiz.cpl -> ok) Find MS Office Click Change Then select repair from here. browse to a valid installation source. I copied the cd to my desktop .Right clicked on the setup file and went to properties and checked off run as administrator .clicked ok then ran the installer. It came with windows xp home edition but when I put the office home and student 2007 cd in, it said there was something wrong with the server pack? Use the line with Office\11.0 if you have Office 2003 installed and Office\12.0 if you have Office 2007 installed.
