Recreating my distribution list did not solve the problem, either, UNTIL I recreated it using a different name for my distribution list. On a monthly basis I will send them a pdf file. I had the exact issue you described and tried all the potential solutions you tried.
Just this morning I believe I found the answer (after a month of trying to solve it). Just bizarre. But when I go through contacts and look at the list they are not there! To verify this is the problem before deleting, when it auto-completes, double click on the group and it should still show those two users in it. She had a distribution list she uses for 12 contacts. To do this, type Outlook.exe /CleanAutoCompleteCache Note If Outlook is not installed in the default location, you must point to the path of Outlook.exe. If that does not work we will look into readding the outlook address book and see if that fixes it, then we will look into scrubbing the folders. Your cache administrator is webmaster.
