September 2, 2009 Shrikant Hi there, I was downgrading from vista business to winxp pro. I have backed up my emails, both ways on outlook 03, through export function, and also through copying the outlook.pst file! I believe the verison I have is 6 in outlook. See the next 3 troubleshooting steps below for further analysis of the issue. In experimenting, when I got it down to the lowest number that would permit scanpst.exe to run and repair, I also ended up with the fewest folders under "lost and found". Sometime there may be chances that Scanpst.exe give an error or not recover the email in your mailbox folder due to corrupt or damaged PST file.

Any Idea ? You should find Outlook Express on the All Programs menu. If I access my e mails via my my internet provider (virigin media) web page I can both send and receive e mails ok. What's next for me?
