Solved: PCI Modem Error 630
com1 will be mouse connection. My Asus laptop wireless lan card stop working after while time. I did find 3 trojans cws.bootconf, cws.msinfo, cws.tapicfg (cwshredder removed). Used several different modems that I know are working. check over here
Or, can I remove them in Device manager and reboot? Remove any extra settings/init string. Xfer Windows Emai Messages... I tried disabling the IRQ's (3&4) in BIOS and it did clear up a problem (!) in device manager with the serial mouse (yes are using a serial mouse on this Info from microsoft led me to believe it was a nonissue, so i left it that way. Bought new internal modem card, installed and still error 608, no dial tone.
